We made it to Liturgy for the Feast of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple! It really was a blessed day! All the kids are still tired but finally healthy. The girls spent time yesterday helping tie little bundles of candles to share and Valentine arranged and rearranged the candles in the baskets.
Blue Eyes was thrilled to discover she has grown and can now venerate the Icon with out being picked up to reach, Valentine was peacefully drowsy during Liturgy which was a relief to me! Iddy was thrilled to sing with friends who are usually at school on feast days and snapped a few pictures for me after Liturgy. Ferdinand had an appointment and missed serving to his disappointment but was able to get to church just in time for the blessing of candles...Father has always been enthusiastic with the holy water the candles are still more than a bit wet sitting in our Icon corner.

The candles looks beautiful! Glorious Feast! We made it to Liturgy on Saturday as well, and enjoyed a brunch to celebrate the 11th anniversary of our parish. It was a lovely day!
