A lovely Feast!

The feast of the Conception of the Most Holy Theotokos by the Righteous Anna (whew its a mouthful of a title!) was this week.
We celebrated by taking our annual walk to the local nursery to choose a poinsettia. This year Biddy decided to try rollerblading up the huge hill and made it, though her going back down was a bit scary! It was thankfully dry this year but very foggy and for the first time the fields held a huge flock of sheep, usually it is geese or goats. The kids thought the sheep fitting though they were very big and Blue Eyes insisted they were not sheep but aliens! Iddy Biddy tried her very best to convince her siblings to pick large sparkly purple ones but they choose 2 small red poinsettias.
