Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater

One of wonderful thing about homeschooling for us has been the involvement and closeness of the older kiddos with their younger siblings. Iddy Biddy has taken over much of the storytelling for the little ones. This month we used the story of Peter Pumpkin eater and made a little felted pumpkin, I think this idea was taken from Suzanne Down's most recent newsletter, if I am wrong let me know so I can get it right :)
We try to tell the story to the little ones several times over a 2 week to month long period, but lately after I tell it initially I find Iddy Biddy telling it before I get to it. We have had a few tearful times when those siblings wreaked havoc on her lovely story, trying to eat her puppets but mostly they prefer big sister to mom and pay close attention to her storytelling.
