Following our usual tradition we went out with Daddy to breakfast at a local restaurant with a Gluten Free menu on the first day of public school. The kids also got a paper cone filled with fun school supplies- pens, stickers, glue sticks and the big hit of the year, rolls of Hello Kitty tape. (They are still using mine :( theirs evidently is "too cute!")
My favorite new thing is this wonderful chalkboard I got at Paper Scissors Stone.
The kids were excited as always to see the fun new books we got for snuggling up with this fall.
Monkey Man's favorites were the new Kumon scissors books and Iddy Biddy LOVED her new pink roller backpack (mommy's back was hurting from lugging all her library books!) and Blue Eyes loved her blue balloon!
The rest of the shelves were still empty but they did wake up to a new fall nature center and a basket of apple books.
It is so nice to have the chalkboard just to the right to complement the windowsill.
