September Mums

No matter how sick I was over the summer September means Mums and I couldn't let the month pass with out planting a bunch.
We have 6 that have made it through the last several winters and put in 10 more (they were on sale so cheap this fall!)
We have put in a few more since the pic's were taken as Blue Eyes apparently like to help me dead-head ;))

What happened to my summer?

Boy, I lost 4 months! The highlights of my summer were losing my camera's usb port cable and mind numbing 24 hour a day morning sickness. Mostly we watched PBS and read stories on Mommy's bed while she cursed the lack of a good Gluten Free saltine.

We did have some fun with a brief botany unit. We have been participating in Karen's wonderful Montessori World Wide Album class. Her albums have been worth their weight in gold to us. We highly recommend her if you wish to gain some Montessori perspective in your home school.

And a first ever camping trip.




And Monkey Man has continued to make great strides in his fine and gross motor delays-
still can't get the boy in socks though :)
