It took longer than 7 days...

Hurray! My creation work is finally done for our home atrium.
Thank you so much to Moira Farrell and her wonderful Home Catechesis Manual .
We had a nice little wooden box to store the materials is. Ds is fascinated by it. He asked to work
with it several times all week. I managed to scrounge all the materials from our craft boxes around
house - the octopus and the "bubbles" are my favorite part.

A really big Rosary...

October among other things is the month that we celebrate the rosary in the
western rite Catholic church.

Like many keeping small hand and hearts focused on the prayer can be a problem.

Here are some pictures of our "really big rosary".

We drank A LOT of juice over the last several months (we are still a few lids short)

and picked up 6 little stackable wooden trays at the craft store. The cross is also from the crafts store off a rack of Christmas ornaments to paint.

The lids stack neatly in the trays with the cross on top and fit neatly on our atrium table.

I plan to print out some pics/labels for the children to place in the trays in order to remember the order of the mysteries.

The big kids really enjoyed laying them out...even the ones that were a little "drooly".
