Bringing in the Sheaves...

The rains started today but luckily we took time earlier in the week to gather up some fall color for our windowsill.
It brings a bit of cheer to our now dreary view.

Organizing the house has continued and since we had to move everything to clean the carpet after
the kids were sick I rearranged. The home atrium/prayer corner has found a quieter spot and
since Blue Eyes keeps snapping rosaries into her face the shelf has been left on top of the dresser.

Monkey Man loves having his own learning shelf in the kitchen and as long as I remember to "re-
stock" it before he comes in I can get some quiet learning time with Iddy Biddy.

Our Learning table had been empty much of the month as Iddy had gotten sick during
our last trip to the Library. But everyone's tummy has calmed down and we came back
this week with 3 totes full of books

The kids exitedly told Daddy about playing Stairway to Heaven -after checking the CD
player he saw our new timeline.

September Snapshots

How did I lose a whole month? Many apologies to the grandparents who have been wondering what we have been doing. Most of the month has been spent cleaning up after sick children but we did manage to get in a few projects between carpet scrubbings...

We had a fun first day of "not" being back to school. We used the first day of public school to celebrate with schuletutes full of new supplies and went out with daddy to breakfast - a rare treat.

Monkey Man's favorites were the mop and ASL puzzle.

Iddy Biddy loved the big stack of books and fairy pencil tin.

Blue Eyes enjoyed eating the paper.

Due to the illness we missed the Homeschool picnic
and were too sick on the baby's first Name
day to celebrate but Iddy Biddy was inspired by Katherine's beautiful Festal Icon over at http://oniondome.typepad.com/ and made one for Blue Eyes as a name day present.
