My Eldest dd wanted to share her picture so here is Iddy Biddy's Fairy Land.

When in doubt- Shrinky Dink!
That is the new philosophy at our house.
My kids haven't figured out that we pull out the shrinky paper
when Mommy just didn't have the time to plan out our next Liturgical project.

Here are the pic's for our Trinity Sunday projects. Dd's says hers is a suncatcher
and Ds is still wearing his around as a necklace.

Here is part of our presentation for the Visitation. The color could be better but our camera is smarter than I am.
The kids were thrilled that I let them help with the painting on it. They always enjoy working with the materials in our home atrium but they really seemed to be more connected with this work having helped prepare it.

This is why I am loving early summer. Give your kids a "bouquet" of chives and a pair of scissors and you have a half an hour of time to make a real meal- not pb&j on badly made bread but a real fresh tasty summer meal. (as long as the baby stays asleep!)
Our finished chive butter ready to serve on new baby potatoes- thanks kids!
Honestly our meals for the last few months have been boring at best-inedible at worst. A new baby and a new diagnosis of Celiac's were a bad combo. But i have had enough- or not enough as the case may be. So I told the kids to pick what they thought looked the prettiest at the local organic market. And we turned this into...

This...brown rice cooked in broth with carrots and asparagus, potatoes with chive butter, fresh lemon/lime-Ade, salad with balsamic dressing, and fresh red grapes- I even let them use the pretty bowl as an apology for the last few months of dry gf crackers and burned bread.
